The
McHenry County Illinois Genealogical Society is a non-profit, tax exempt organization of
family history researchers from all over the United States, Canada and Germany.
Most
of the members have ancestry in McHenry County, but many of the local members do
not.
The purpose of MCIGS is to foster an interest in genealogy, provide instruction
in family research methods and practices, and preserve early McHenry County records. Follow the link for more information including contact information for our officers and directors.
