MCIGS Website Upgrade Update: Migration over 85% Complete

Over the past month, the McHenry County Illinois Genealogical Society has been hard at work moving our online presence to our new website on ClubExpress. We’re excited to share that the migration is now over 85% complete—and the improvements are already making it easier for genealogists to find resources and for MCIGS to serve members more effectively.
What we’ve been working on...
This has been more than a “new look” project. We’ve been carefully rebuilding and reorganizing decades of society content so it’s easier to browse, more consistent, and better protected where appropriate. Recent work includes:
Migrating major record indexes (including long-running collections like our marriage indexes spanning 1837–1979)
Expanding online access to society-created resources such as our specialized indexes and reference materials
Organizing newsletters and historical publications so members can browse and access past issues more easily.
